Fitting out of industrial building for fish distribution warehouse

Our mission was to transform an industrial building into a logistics centre for fish storage. The building, located at c/ Transversal 2, Naus 206 i 207 in Mercabarna, offered an ideal space for the logistics operation. The total built-up area of the project was 2,520 m²..
Building structure:
The building consisted of a ground floor and a mezzanine floor. On the ground floor, we designed a main cold store, which plays a crucial role in the reception, refrigerated storage and efficient distribution of the products. In addition, a smaller cold store for selected products, a washing area and a battery room were implemented to ensure a constant flow of energy.
On the mezzanine floor, there is a functional space which includes offices, a meeting room, changing rooms and the technical area of the engine room. This area was designed with employee comfort and efficient operations management in mind.
The success of the project:
The collaboration between ICA-Group and our client resulted in the successful transformation of an industrial building into a highly functional logistics centre for fish storage.
